Agricultural Society
Formed in 1974, the Gleichen and District Agricultural Society’s purpose is to run and maintain Gleichen’s recreational facilities and promote agricultural awareness. The main Ag. Society sponsored events each year are the Fall Fair and the Rodeo, which are held in August.
The Ag. Society meets the fourth Tuesday of every second month, beginning in January of each year. Its AGM is in November.
